Smith & Nephew and Sterima

05 February 2009

Smith & Nephew and Sterima have joined forces to treat orthopaedic loaner sets. In the autumn, we are launching a brand new initiative that consists in the collection of used orthopaedic loaner sets in hospitals by Sterima Logistic Services with a view to cleaning, sterilising and assembling them at the new sterilization unit of Sterima Medical Services in Bissegem. Then they are returned to hospitals on behalf of Smith & Nephew. An integrated concept that combines the reprocessing of orthopaedic loaner instruments with total logistic support.
